About Me

I’m Theodoros, a fifth year PhD student in Electrical and Computer Engineering at Yale University, advised by Professor Jakub Szefer. My research establishes the architectural foundations for trustworthy hybrid quantum-classical computing , bridging the fields of computer architecture, hardware security, and quantum systems. I focus on uncovering vulnerabilities and building secure architectures for both NISQ and fault-tolerant quantum computing (FTQC) systems. Separately, I am also actively interested in QEC-aware compilers and decoders.

Before joining Yale, I received my bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in Greece. I will be forever grateful to have been supervised by Prof. Dionisios Pnevmatikatos and Prof. Vasilis Karakostas in my diploma thesis studying side-channels attacks due to speculative execution and their defenses.

I am on the tenure-track faculty job market.
