About Me
I’m Theodoros Trochatos (in Greek they call me Θοδωρή, but you can call me Theo, my efforts are futile at this point) and I am a fourth year PhD student in Electrical Engineering at Yale University, where I am fortunate enough to be advised by Professor Jakub Szefer. My current research interests include the broad area of hardware security, specializing (but not limited) on uncovering security vulnerabilities and building defenses for quantum computers.
Before joining Yale, I received my bachelor’s degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens in Greece. I will be forever grateful to have been supervised by Prof. Dionisios Pnevmatikatos and Prof. Vasilis Karakostas in my diploma thesis studying side-channels attacks due to speculative execution and their defenses.
